xf86-video-glamo runtime quirks

Reported by: jc Owned by: jc
Priority: critical Milestone: unsorted
Component: target Keywords: glamo
Cc: jc

Description

This happens in random compilations when starting X server:

dlopen: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/glamo_drv.so: undefined symbol: GlamoKMSAdjustFrame
(EE) Failed to load /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/glamo_drv.so
(EE) Failed to load module "glamo" (loader failed, 7)
(EE) No drivers available.

Noticed during stability tests for a proposal of new xf86-video-glamo. I'll ask Weiss what it's all about when he's around.

Also, feel free to criticize appended version of the ebuild. Note: the ewarn shifted from -kms to +kms. This will either get removed completely or will suggest trying to toggle kms use flag.

This is REALLY starting to get on my nerves.

Fixed in 36c1b99f6b98951d1ca0fbcc13ca1116dc3dfac6 . As per ewarn - if it doesn't work for you, try emerging with USE="kms". This should be fixed upstream.
